Summary
"WECLOME to OUT/LOOK & THE BIRTH OF THE QUEER, the first publication of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Historical Society. We have been proud to hold the entire run of the seminal OUT/LOOK magazine in our archives. This multi-faceted project of inter-generational, cross-cultural interpretation is a perfect example of the kind of creative exploration we aim to facilitate through our archival reearch center and museum. I want to thank the dozens of artists and writers who have contributed new work for the exhibit, website, events and this publication under my friend E.G. Crichton's leadership. Special thanks to the Creative Work Fund for making this project possible. And all honor and respect to thoes brave souls who brought us the original OUT/LOOK. May this publication breathe new life into your work and allow its spirit to manifest in perpetuity."--Terry Beswick, Executive Director, GLBT Historical Society
