- The story of Victoria, a servant girl who, despite her station in life, succeeds in building a successful fashion empire. When Victoria was young she was ripped away from her newborn daughter and never recovered from the heartache. Unbeknownst to her, Victoria's daughter, Maria, comes to work for her as a model at her company and Victoria, being jealous of Maria's youth and beauty, wreaks havoc in her own daughter's life without knowing her true identity
