- Seeking revenge against the people who killed him, Freddy Krueger haunts the dreams of teenagers, and when he kills them in their sleep they are dead in real life; Freddy tries to possess a teenage boy so he can continue his killing in the real world; Freddy haunts the dreams of teenagers at a mental hospital, but Nancy helps the teens to discover the power they hold in their dreams to fight him; Kristen passes on her power of pulling people into her dreams to her friend Alice, who must find a way to defeat Freddy; Freddy seeks to come into the real world through the dreams of Alice's unborn child; Freddy, having almost no teenagers left to kill in his town, haunts the dreams of his daughter, who must find a way to stop him; when Heather Langenkamp finds her world being disrupted by a villain that looks and sounds like Freddy Krueger, she discovers that she must stop an evil demon by taking on the role of Nancy again; after Freddy discovers that the teenagers in his town have forgotten him because of anti-dreaming drugs, he resurrects Jason Voorhees to cause fear in town, but when Jason goes too far Freddy must fight to stop him
