Summary
Working as a respected investigative journalist for the Observer and Guardian, with star-studded spells at the New Musical Express and Time Out and dedicating the last 20 years of his life completely to Animal Rights, Andrew Tyler has recorded his own 'great life' - from his early days in a Jewish orphanage in London to his final day in a clinic in Switzerland. In his youth Andrew was in San Francisco in 1967 to enjoy firsthand the now legendary Summer of Love, a rare experience whichever way you look at it. He dedicated the last 20 years of his life totally to Animal Rights, leaving the rock and roll values behind him. He became a vegan and ran Animal Aid as its Director until Parkinson's Disease made that no longer possible. Andrew Tyler, took his own life in a small village in the canton of Zurich, accompanied by officials from Dignitas in on April 28, 2017
