- "因為命運的作弄而令原本為富家子的丁常旺(郭晉安)與孤兒窮書僮包繼宗(曹永廉)互換了身份。民初,旺本是包慶豐(元華)九代單傳的獨子,因原配妒忌,懷有身孕的旺母被逐出家門。包大富(李成昌)一直覬覦親叔豐的財產,為除卻旺繼承家產的機會,富欲先發制人幹掉旺兩母子,旺母被殺死,而旺則被打傷至失憶,富另找來孤兒宗來假冒包家大少爺。旺雖大難不死,但行為像七、八歲的傻仔,輾轉流落到烏龍鎮,幸被米珠蓮(盧宛茵)誤認為失蹤的兒子。柳湘湘(陳秀珠)與蓮曾私下為兒女訂媒妁之言,旺本應娶湘的親女為妻,然湘卻將繼女凌彩鳳(宣萱)嫁給傻仔旺,反之將凌彩蝶(唐寧)嫁給宗。其實旺在未失憶前曾與未婚妻楊佩君(楊婉儀)訂下婚盟,旺突然失蹤,君經明查暗訪後成功接近旺,旺夾在鳳與君之間,兩女發覺旺的身世事有蹺蹊,合力將真相查出及助旺回復記憶。宗的冒充少爺身份能否繼續?傻仔旺最後能否與包老爺相認?面對新歡與舊愛,旺可否盡享齊人之福呢?"--碟盒
