El circo: La alegre cabalgata del Gran Circo Estrella desfila por el pueblo donde Cantinflas ejerce de zapatero remendón. Al pasar el cortejo por delante de la zapatería, Cantinflas queda prendado por la belleza de Rosalinda y decide entrar en el circo, de gorrón porque no tiene un centavo, para volver a verla.
