Summary
After he discovers his wife has been unfaithful, Dr. Martin Bamford flees London for a Cornish seaside village and finds himself involved in a local scandal; when Doc Martin tries to buy an isolated farm house for more privacy, a London family beats him to it, so he resorts to local folk magic, invoking a fabled beast to scare them away
