Biographical or historical data
Allen Klein was born in New York, and attended Hunter College and Yale Drama School. He workedas an art director and scenic designer for CBS-TV in New York. He moved to the Haight District in SanFrancisco and established a silk screen business called The Works. He was a member of a gay fathers group in the 1970s.
