  • "In March 2020 venues worldwide were forced to shut down due to the pandemic. Bottom of the Hill and Ivy Room had to keep their doors closed for nearly 18 months. 2 years later things are far from back to normal with ongoing Covid restrictions and outbreaks limiting attendance, frequent band and show cancellations, and a general fear of visiting intimate venues, attendance and revenue are a fraction of what they were pre pandemic. As a result, the venues are still struggling to keep the lights on. The "LOCKED IN THE DRESSING ROOM" benefit compilations are entirely produced by musicians for such venues. These venues regularly open their stages to various punk and unsigned independent bands. The project is entirely DIY, without any sponsors or revenue from advertising. All tracks have been generously donated by the artists to help the venues raise some funds and show appreciation for their efforts in keeping the scene alive".-- From album jacket
