  • Veo el sol en México, el quinto libro de la galardonada Veo la serie Sun, tiene lugar en el Mar de Cortez. Familia de clase obrera de Luis vive en La Paz. Su padre es un cocinero en un barco de excursión. Su madre hace las mejores tortillas de la ciudad. Con la guía de Mama, tiendas Luis para las verduras Papa tiene que preparar las comidas en el barco. Una vez en el agua, Luis reparte máscaras y tubos a los turistas que nadar en el hermoso mar. El agua azul claro es un mundo mágico lleno de cientos de peces de colores y los juguetones lobos marinos. Más adelante en el día, el barco está anclado de nuevo y todo el mundo va para una caminata. La pista de arena, muy por encima de la orilla, revela serpientes, lagartos, flores de cactus y antiguas pinturas rupestres.
