Summary
Scientist Alexander Hartdegen invents a time machine and travels 800,000 years into the future. In the future, humans have developed into to two groups: the Eloi, and the Morlocks who enslave them. Hartdegen joins the battle to help the Eloi overthrow the Morlocks
