Summary
Benjamin is the eighteen-year-old son of devout Jehovah's Witnesses in rural Sweden, who is struggling to come to terms with his homosexuality. Moving to Stockholm in the 1980s, Benjamin begins to find himself, discovering and embracing the city's vibrant gay culture. There he meets Rasmus, another recent arrival, and the two fall in love. But a terrible storm is brewing, and as the decade progresses the scourge of AIDS takes a horrific toll on their close-knit community
