The couple has two daughters--Sydney, born for the spotlight, and the brilliant but awkward Eunice, a natural writer and storytellerNoah Turner sees monster, both figurative and very literal. They stalk the Turner family, and the father has built a shrine to them with The Wandering Dark, an immersive horror experience that the whole family operates. Noah's mother Margaret refuses to believe in the monsters; she married Lovecraft-lover Harry against her better judgment. Sydney, the eldest daughter, won't admit to seeing anything. Eunice attempts to exorcise them from her mind by writing their story. Noah sees them... and chooses to let them in.... -- adapted from jacket
