Summary
In 1969, Matty Dean, a small-town hustler, moves to New York's Greenwich Village where he finds love with a transvestite named La Miranda. As his anger grows about the homophobic attitudes of the local police, he relies on an absolute belief that one man can make a difference, setting the stage for participation in the Stonewall Riots, the flashpoint of New York City's gay liberation movement
