- "清末,淮河流域瘟疫肆虐,哀鸿遍野。御医房结拜兄弟龙大爷与方秀才同赴疫区救治,然而却发现此瘟疫源头是人为下毒,凶手竟是与大奶奶私通的龙家二爷。龙大爷念在手足情深。恻隐在心,深夜奔赴回家质问兄弟,却被二爷与大奶奶亲手杀死。二爷与大奶奶捏造证据,买通关卡,将瘟疫爆发嫁祸方秀才。三日之内,方秀才满门抄斩。只留下了一个婴儿,阴差阳错逃命间,竟与龙家私通之子掉包,从此拉开了二十年恩怨的序幕...... 十八年后,两个孩子长大成人。龙家之子厚朴流落关家,为一平民,仍操医术;方家之子舞笙被龙家养大,成了少爷。龙家小姐莲生厚朴的同父异母的妹妹与厚朴一见如故,渴望嫁给厚朴,设下圈套使与厚朴青梅竹马的镜心嫁给舞笙。另一个得不到莲生的少年皇甫将罪恶愈演愈烈。几个青年人之间的矛盾不断加深的同时,龙大奶奶为了舞笙不遗余力地残害厚朴,最终厚朴一家四口死于非命,厚朴被龙大奶奶毒害了双眼,失去昧觉...... 舞笙的亲生母亲像复仇女神一样突然出现在人群中,当真想被揭开时,错过的永远不能重来,铸下无法熔为灰烬,善恶皆有道,瞧有放手才是最后的释然......"--Container
