- "地主家出生的陈秋石为逃避父亲安排的婚姻,阴差阳错的走上革命道路,被组织安排去黄埔分校学习。手无缚鸡之力的他在老师帮助下逐渐展露出将才天赋,因信仰不同无奈与恩师分道扬镳。抗日战争爆发,他带领部队运筹帷幄,以少胜多,屡立奇功。但厌战的他为减少牺牲,一常违抗上级命令,为此数次遭贬,人生大起大落。解放战争爆发,因私自放走身为国民党高级将领的恩师,陈秋石更遭受大难。为革命,他与初恋逼迫分离,再次相见心爱的女人已为人妇。十七年未回家,从未谋面的儿子陈三川成为他队伍中一名英勇战士,儿子喜爱的姑娘却默默崇拜着他,并为他牺牲。父子关系陷入危机。最终父子二人和解并相认,共同在抗日战争和解放战争中挥洒着智慧和鲜血,谱写了一出可歌可泣的战场传奇。"--Container
